Established with YCF in 2011, the PFC Andrew Martin “Bo” Harper Memorial Scholarship Fund commemorates the lifetime of Harper, who died March 11, 2011, at age 19, whereas serving in Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan.
Harper, a 2009 graduate of College Excessive Faculty, enlisted within the U.S. Military. He achieved the rank of PFC/E3 and was assigned to Co I, 3d Squadron, second Stryker Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany.
The scholarship fund helps college students who graduate from a Monongalia or Harrison County highschool and are enrolled full-time at a public or non-public greater schooling establishment.
