Girls’s Vitality Community of West Virginia (WEN WV) introduced the third yr of the Purses for Energy program in West Virginia.

Final yr, WEN WV donated over 100 purses to Hope Inc., Phoenix Home, Sojourner’s (YWCA Shelter) and United Approach of Monongalia and Preston Counties, and United Approach of Marion County, amongst others. These donations assist help ladies and youngsters coming into shelters in West Virginia after crimes of home or sexual violence, in addition to different organizations supporting underrepresented populations.

In honor of Home Violence Consciousness month this October, WEN WV will as soon as once more be gathering purses and private gadgets for victims of home abuse as they make their journey in direction of a life freed from violence.
