A Monday morning home fireplace destroyed a River Street residence, killed a household pet and resulted in a single arrest after marijuana crops have been discovered on the property.
Experiences of a cellular residence on fireplace have been known as in at round 8:30 a.m. for the above tackle, positioned a brief distance from the River Street Volunteer Hearth Division.
Personnel arrived on the scene to seek out the lone male occupant had escaped the blaze with out damage.
Darrin Patrick Coppola, 59, of 1869 River Street, was taken into custody by the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Division on one cost of producing a managed substance after a deputy helping fireplace personnel obtained a search warrant and positioned 17 marijuana crops and packaging supplies, in line with the prison criticism.
In response to the prison criticism, when Deputy Martin arrived, firefighters indicated they noticed drug paraphernalia and what they believed to be marijuana crops within the residence.
